Beulah is a young Pitbull mix who will need a home where she can be left alone long enough in order to come out of her shell. Since she is terrified of the leash, we think she may have been put on a slip lead and dragged. She shows no aggression whatsoever. We shudder to think of what has caused her physical and emotional scars. She will need someone who will bring her to their home to decompress and learn how to feel safe.
To start, Beulah will need a spot where she feels safe. She will most likely hide out there and freeze up when you come near, so just let her share your space for a while.
We will give you tips on how to get her outside, because this could involve carrying her.
She will need a very secure yard all to herself.
We actually saw her do a bunny hop and was acting like a silly dog running around until we came close to take her back in. Then she froze in fear and was a scared girl again.
The most important thing Beulah needs is patience. We have a wonderful professional trainer that will come and work with you to help Beulah if you want.
