A Riverside man, Jason Bex, was recently found guilty by a jury on 15 felony sexual abuse charges.

Bex, 52, was first arrested in May 2025 and held in the Washington County Jail on a $1 million bond. After multiple trial delays, Bex was found guilty on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 5, 2027, when he will appear for his sentencing hearing.

The trial began Oct. 27 and concluded Nov. 4, when the jury found Bex guilty on all 15 felony counts.

The charges stemmed from incidents alleged to have occurred over a three-year period. Bex was convicted of five counts of second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony; five counts of lascivious acts with a child, a Class C felony; and five counts of incest, a Class D felony. According to court records, the offenses involved a victim under the age of 14.

Court records also show that Bex was previously convicted in 2012 on four counts of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, for which he reportedly served nine years in prison.

In January, it was reported that Bex could face up to 170 years in prison if convicted.
