Virginia Ann “Ginny” (Yoder) Wenger, 83, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg.
Born October 18, 1943, in Marengo, Iowa, to Ora P. and Ida Fern (Gingerich) Yoder, Ginny grew up on a farm near Wellman. She attended the one-room Woodland School and graduated from Mid-Prairie High School in 1962.
Ginny married Robert Wenger on April 25, 1964. Together they shared 62 years of marriage, raising their family in California before returning to Iowa decades later.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert; daughters: Kari Wenger and Kim (Michael) Berry; her only grandchild: Rebecca; sister: Arlene Wenger; brother: Gerald (Kathy) Yoder; and many nieces and nephews.
Service to be held 5:00 pm Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg, Iowa. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Messages and tributes may be directed to www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
