Mid-Prairie's band took the field just prior  to the Golden Hawks' football opener against Wilton on August 25 in Wellman.

Highland was defeated by the North Cedar Knights, 38-6, on August 25. This was a home game for the Huskies. 

Mid-Prairie defeated the Washington Demons, 3-0, with final scores of 25-20, 25-13, and 25-17 on August 24. This was a home game for the Golden Hawks.
